Why we charge
Lyra isn't just an app on your PC. Every time you talk to it, our server sends your request to Google's Gemini Flash AI and sends the reply back, and both the server and the AI cost money to run.
Full access pays for keeping the server running and the AI available, and lets us keep improving Lyra with new features, like SRV and on-foot support, which are in development now.
Questions
Why does the free plan have a cap?
Every reply from Lyra runs on Google's Gemini Flash AI, which costs money each time. The cap keeps the free plan sustainable while still giving you the full experience.
What happens when I reach the cap?
Lyra will stop replying until the cap resets at the start of the next month, unless you move to Full access.
Do I need to pay during testing?
No. Testing is free. You won't be charged for anything unless you choose a paid plan after launch.
